Wanted it to be good

I have the same issue as the reviewer above. Started to get black stuff forming on the wood. I love the idea of the product but seems pointless if it can’t handle holding wet soap…

Where did you put my review???

I wrote an average review for this wiggly soap dish and you didn’t post it yet. It’s been over a week! You aren’t vetting your reviews are you???? That would be dishonest. You don’t want a bad reputation, do you???

Shore Soap Co.

Hey Jennifer,

Would you by chance mind sending us a photo? We're looking to improve this by maybe changing the wood type. We would be happy to send you a replacement... Your review appears to be live if you click the "customer reviews" drop down tab. We'd never hide a review except for inappropriate language.

Sorry for the trouble.

Getting water rot

I bought this little cute wooden soap holder while on vacation in Newport, RI. I brought it home to use with a bar of white soap. But as the wet soap sits on top of the ridges, it’s turning almost black in color. Like the wood is rotting from being wet.

I knew the wood wasn’t finished when I bought it at the store but I figured, it’s made for soap to sit on, it must be special and could handle wet soap/water. I don’t think that’s the case at all.
