One product we hear a lot of great feedback on is our Tea Tree & Charcoal Face Bar. It's loaded with European Spa Salt and activated charcoal for fresh, soft, and super clean skin. With a coconut oil, olive oil, and shea butter base, this bar is your skin’s new best friend.
The activated charcoal acts like a magnet to attract and absorb dirt, oil and other harmful impurities which wash away when you rinse. Due to its ability to absorb thousands of times its own mass in toxins, it helps to heal pimples and prevent future breakouts. It also has anti-aging effects like tightening pores, smoothing the skin by working as a mild exfoliant, and reducing inflammation which significantly helps in preventing premature aging.
Even though the list of ingredients for our Face Bar is short, the list of benefits is anything but! Much like the charcoal, tea tree oil has been used for many years to heal a variety of problems, from burns and cuts to athlete’s foot and insect bites. It works similarly to benzoyl peroxide, a topical acne treatment, but without the negative side effects of redness, peeling, and itching. It penetrates the blockage between your skin and sebaceous glands and disinfects pores, drying out whiteheads and blackheads.
The base of the soap includes olive oil (an antioxidant rich in vitamin E), coconut oil (which helps with the lather), and shea butter that soothes, protects, and nourishes the skin with essential fatty acids. The sea salt inside increases blood circulation and hardens the bar which prolongs its longevity.
And last but definitely not least, one of my favorite ingredients, Bentonite Clay - one of the most effective and powerful of the healing clays because of its unique ability to produce an “electrical charge” when hydrated. Upon contact with fluid its electrical components charge giving it the ability to absorb and remove toxins, heavy metals, impurities, and chemicals. It carries a strong negative charge which bonds to the positive charge in many toxins. Also helps get oxygen to cells as it pulls excess hydrogen and allows the cells to be replenished with oxygen instead.
